Time commitment is minimal, but the fellowship and strengthening of the body is immeasurable.
It has been an exciting time at Parish Presbyterian Church as we have watched the new building, Clovercroft Hall, come out of the ground. It is almost finished!
Our goal is to be debt free as soon as possible, so we invite those of you that have not had the opportunity to participate in the Arise & Build Campaign to do so now by making a pledge or one-time gift.
For those who have already given, we encourage you to prayerfully consider what more God may be calling you to give to help pay for the building.
Any additional amount above your initial pledge will help us to immediately save on interest costs.

Praise the Lord for a new parking lot! We are thankful for the Lord’s blessing of the newly paved parking lot and driveway.
In light of this update, the Parish leadership is requesting that we park only in the parking lots at the old and new buildings. Please do not park along the driveway or on the grassy medians.
Thank you so much for your consideration in this. We look forward to worshipping with you all for Lord’s Day worship.

This Thursday, February 6th, Conduit Church in Franklin is hosting a screening of The 1916 Project, a documentary that uncovers the disturbing legacy of Margaret Sanger and her deep ties to the eugenics movement. The film explores how Sanger’s dangerous ideologies targeted marginalized communities and how those beliefs still influence today’s culture wars. Our own Pastor George, who is in the film, will be hosting the evening and kicking it off with a discussion before film begins. You can find more information and RSVP at Conduit Church’s website here.

We believe that no one should be denied the opportunity to have a substantive Christian education simply because of cost. The Chalmers Fund was created to provide scholarships to worthy, needy students and their families. The Uttermost is our annual fundraiser—and this year our goal is to raise $50,000. To raise an outrageous sum like that we decided to undertake an outrageous challenge: during the summer of 2025 we will attempt to run 500 miles, cycle 1500 miles, and swim 25 miles.
Pastor George posts his progress daily on his Facebook page and you can follow the Uttermost Instagram account at @uttermostfund. Follow along and encourage us along the way. Please consider donating to this effort to raise up the next generation of Christian leaders.
Celebrate the end of our 2,025-mile summer challenge with a 5K run/walk at Parish open to all ages and fitness levels. Registration includes an Uttermost t-shirt, and all proceeds go toward the Chalmers Fund, providing scholarships for Parish families pursuing Christian education.
After the 5K, we'll also have a 1K Kids Run that's free for kids of all ages to participate in. Whether you're running the final stretch or just cheering us on, we’d love for you to be part of it!
Please note: for the safety of our runners and walkers, no access into or out of the parking lots will be available once the race starts.
The deadline to register and be guaranteed an Uttermost t-shirt is Thursday, August 28th.
November Hymn & Memory Verse
Each month in Sunday School, our preschool-5th grade children are learning a hymn and a Bible verse together.
Hymn of the Month: We Will Feast in House of Zion
Memory Verse: Matthew 6:19-21
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is there your heart will be also."

Reminders for Parents
Drop Off/Pick Up Policy
Parents will sign the children in to Sunday school at the iPads in the foyer and receive a name tag and a pick up card. Sunday School starts at 10:15. A child may not come to class without a name tag. The parents must bring their pick up cards to the classroom at 11:00 to pick their child up. If you’re attending the first service, please feel free to pick up your tags beforehand to help with traffic.
Bathroom Policy
If a child needs to go to the bathroom during Sunday school, one of the teachers will text his or her parent or take the child to his or her parent. The parent will take the child to the bathroom and return the child to the classroom. Teachers will not take children to the bathroom or change diapers.
Covenant children are the most precious things on earth!

“Jesus Followers” a new book from Christain Green
The spirit of sisterhood is seen and felt in the fervent prayer of thousands of girls who faithfully uphold nations where injustice and darkness rage out of control. It is seen and felt in young women being inspired by the wisdom and grace of their mothers and the women ahead of them in this journey of life.
