Sermon Audio: 1 John 4:7-12 Love Divine James Crampton Pastoral Intern
Underneath me, all around me, is the current of Thy Love.
Today we sing of a subject so vast it’s difficult to narrow it down: God’s love. His love is so amazing, so divine, that it demands our souls, our lives, our all (When I Survey The Wondrous Cross). His love fills us as the waters fill the sea (May The Mind Of Christ, My Savior). His is a never-ending love (Come, Christians, Join To Sing), a love that caused the Lord of bliss to bear our dreadful curse (What Wondrous Love Is This). This love took Jesus to the cross that the church might be ransomed, and saved to sin no more (There Is A Fountain Filled With Blood). His love takes away the love of sinning (Love Divine, All Loves Excelling), and replaces it with love for the brethren. —Nathan
