● Justification by faith leads to peace with God. We are saved by God from God. (1)
● Rejoice in hope of the glory of God (2)
● Rejoice in sufferings? The golden chain of hope (3-5)
● Christ died for the ungodly! (6-9)
● Salvation is from the death, resurrection, and continued mediation of Christ.(10-11)
● Covenant theology: The two heads of the two humanities: Adam and Christ (12-21)

● Both born sinless (Ecc 7:22, 1 John 3:5)
● Both public persons / federal head of man (vs 12, 18)
