Greeting, meeting, and informing visitors.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild prepares the house of the Lord for worship according to the church calendar and assists the diaconate with the beatification of the grounds.  The Altar Guild of Parish Presbyterian Church is the orthopraxy to our orthodoxy.  (Philippians 4:8-9)

  • Arrange flowers
  • Sew altar linens
  • Offer plants/flowers from your home garden
Women’s Bible Study

The Bible Study Group helps our women grow in holiness by attending to the planning, organizing, and implementing of women’s Bible study under the authority of the session.  (Psalm 19:9b-11)

  • Promote upcoming studies
  • Invite women to study
  • Create environment for study and fellowship
Women’s Discipleship

The Women’s Discipleship group provides a means for women to deepen their relationships through regular study, prayer, and discussion in small groups.

  • Meet together monthly for fellowship and prayer
  • Volunteer to help plan
Emmaus Special Needs

The Emmaus Group shows the love of Christ to those in our community who have disabilities or special needs.  Currently, we offer buddies to children with disabilities during both services and Sunday school.  (Luke 24:15-16)

  • Serve as a buddy during Sunday school or worship service
  • Show love and welcome to families with special needs children
Hospitality

The Hospitality Group provides the congregation with opportunities to build relationship and pass along the value of parish life to upcoming generations through planning events such as potlucks, baby showers, Lententide and Kingdomtide dinners. (Acts 2:42)

  • Help plan events
  • Help host and serve at events as needed
Meals Team

The Meals Group supports the covenant community in times of transition, grief, or celebration through providing meals. Membership in this group is a great way to get to know others in the church better as you lovingly deliver a meal.  (Galatians 6:2)

  • Provide a meal to a family during times of need
Wrap Around Ministry

Provide tangibly for the needs of families within the church who decide to foster children. (Isaiah 58:10-11)

  • Join a team to help a family applying to provide foster care
