We believe that no one should be denied the opportunity to have a substantive Christian education simply because of cost. The Chalmers Fund was created to provide scholarships to worthy, needy students and their families. The Uttermost is our annual fundraiser—and this year our goal is to raise $50,000. To raise an outrageous sum like that we decided to undertake an outrageous challenge: during the summer of 2025 we will attempt to run 500 miles, cycle 1500 miles, and swim 25 miles.
Pastor George posts his progress daily on his Facebook page and you can follow the Uttermost Instagram account at @uttermostfund. Follow along and encourage us along the way. Please consider donating to this effort to raise up the next generation of Christian leaders.
Celebrate the end of our 2,025-mile summer challenge with a 5K run/walk at Parish open to all ages and fitness levels. Registration includes an Uttermost t-shirt, and all proceeds go toward the Chalmers Fund, providing scholarships for Parish families pursuing Christian education.
After the 5K, we’ll also have a 1K Kids Run that’s free for kids of all ages to participate in. Whether you’re running the final stretch or just cheering us on, we’d love for you to be part of it!
Please note: for the safety of our runners and walkers, no access into or out of the parking lots will be available once the race starts.
The deadline to register and be guaranteed an Uttermost t-shirt is Thursday, August 28th.
